Lori Vallow Daybell has been indicted by a grand jury in Maricopa County, Arizona, for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder as reported by Justin Lum of Fox10. The latest indictment of Lori Vallow Daybell which actually occurred in 2022, but remained sealed until court proceedings in Idaho concluded, is for the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux. Details of this attempted murder were covered in the trial of Vallow Daybell in which she was found guilty on all charges.

The indictment states that Lori Vallow Daybell conspired with her now deceased brother Alex Cox to murder Brandon Boudreaux. A single gunshot came from the open rear window of a grey Jeep that was idling in front of Boudreaux's home, shattering his windshield. Cell phone evidence presented at trial places Alex Cox at the scene, then immediately driving back to Rexburg, Idaho. The Jeep was registered to then deceased Charles Vallow, Lori's former husband. Vallow Daybell will also face charges in Arizona for the murder of Charles Vallow, who was shot to death by Alex Cox in what he claimed to be self-defense.

Lori Vallow Daybell is back in the Madison County Jail awaiting sentencing after being convicted on all six charges in the deaths of two of her children and Chad's first wife.

Sentencing is likely about three months away. Once that's done, Vallow Daybell will be extradited to Arizona to face charges related to her former husband Charles Vallow's murder and the attempted shooting of her niece's former husband, Brandon Boudreaux.

"We're not ending this. This is not the end of this," Larry Woodcock, JJ's grandpa, said after the guilty verdict was read.

Judge Boyce ordered a pre-sentence investigation report before Vallow Daybell is sentenced.

Boyce estimates it could take about three months for that investigation to be complete.

Idaho law requires that report include things such as the defendant's version of the criminal act and explanation for the act, her social history, her health and financial status, and her sense of values and outlook on life in general.

"90 days from today, we will probably be in Fremont County, the sentence will be handed down, and I'm going to say right now what I'm going to say in three months. Why, Lori? Why, Lori? Why? Power, sex and greed, for what? For what?" Woodcock said Friday afternoon.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office said Friday, after Vallow Daybell is sentenced and transferred to the Idaho Department of Correction, the extradition process will begin, which could take several weeks to several months.

The Maricopa County Attorney's office said in a statement that it's reviewed submitted charges for matters involving Lori Vallow that occurred in Chandler, Arizona July 11, 2019 and in Gilbert, Arizona Oct. 2, 2019.

July 11th 2019 is when the police say Alex Cox, Lori's brother, shot and killed Charles Vallow in what he called self-defense.

During the trial, Arizona investigators described Lori's demeanor as 'calm' and 'nonchalant' after her husband was killed.

Oct. 2, 2019 is when Lori's niece's husband, Brandon Boudreaux was shot at.

"We've got two more trials. Two more," Woodcock said Friday after the verdict was read.

As for Lori's husband, Chad Daybell, his attorney requested his trial be held in May or June of 2024. Judge Boyce hasn't yet officially set a date for it.
