Looks like the Rodgers family feud is still continuing after all these years. The reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers, was recently reported to have skipped his brother Luke’s wedding despite being invited by the couple to bury the hatchet and start fresh.

This wasn’t taken lightly by the star quarterback’s family. Aaron’s older brother Luke welcomed his son into the world in a sweet Instagram post and also took a massive dig at his brother.

Aaron Rodgers failed to congratulate his brother Luke on the birth of his son

In the post, Luke shares beautiful images of his son, Jack Jordan Rodgers, and his wife Aimee, and also mentioned the inspiration behind the name. “Your middle name is for @jrodgers11 and we can only pray you grow up to be as generous, kind, loyal, (and tan) and an amazing man of character as your uncle Jordan,” the caption reads. This seems like a direct hit against Aaron who is the other uncle.

Aaron Rodgers has been called selfish, egotistic, and many such synonyms by the media, and looks like his brother Luke agrees with them wholeheartedly. Because “generous, kind, loyal, and an amazing man of character” isn’t how Luke described his younger brother Aaron. The Packers QB didn’t wish the happy couple on the brother of their son and his nephew but Uncle Jordan sure did. “My little dude JJ!!! Love him already and love you and Aimee so much! So happy for y’all and so freaking stoked to be an Uncle”, Jordan commented on Luke’s Instagram Post.

The feud between Aaron and Jordan first became public news back in 2016 when Jordan appeared on the popular American reality TV show The Bachelorette. Jordan revealed that while he was very close to his oldest brother Luke, Aaron was somewhat detached from the rest of the family. “It’s just the way he’s chosen to do life,” Jordan said on the show. “I chose to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother [Luke].”

The family drama once again hit the headline in January 2020 when Aaron said he had trouble relating with the religious community during his childhood. This comment by the 38-year-old QB didn’t sit well with the entire family. “They were dismayed,” the source said. “The family is very dedicated to their Christian faith…To them, his comments are basically a slap in the face to the fundamentals of who they are. It’s basically him turning his back on everything they have taught him.”

But sources have also mentioned that whatever the relationship between Aaron and his family if there is even the slightest inconvenience troubling his family, he would be the first one to help them out. Maybe it is time to overcome the differences and become a family because nothing is stronger than family! Anyways, congratulations to new parents Luke and Aimee.
