Man ignores traffic stop, crashes into parked car

NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho (CBS 2) A man is in jail after police say he didn't pullover for a traffic stop in Lewiston and crashed into a parked car, Friday night. According to Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office, 29-year-old Jonathan Kinney of Lewiston was speeding near the 2300 block of Grelle Street.

A man is in jail after police say he didn't pullover for a traffic stop in Lewiston and crashed into a parked car, Friday night.

According to Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office, 29-year-old Jonathan Kinney of Lewiston was speeding near the 2300 block of Grelle Street.

A Nez Perce County Sheriff's deputy signaled to Kinney to pull over, but the driver continued to drive.

The deputy followed Kinney to 15th and Grelle Streets, where the driver then turned onto 15th Street and stopped at a nearby home, hitting a parked car in the process.

Kinney then went into a nearby home.

Idaho State Police, Lewiston Police, and other Nez Perce County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the home and arrested Kinney, without any injury to Kinney or anyone else.

Kinney was arrested on multiple charges.

Investigators believe alcohol was involved.
