Joe Rogan and steroid expert Derek from “More Plates More Dates” find the timing of Conor McGregor’s insane speedy recovery and his absence from the USADA testing pool to be a little fishy. The two discussed in depth what could possibly have happened behind the scenes with the Irish fighter’s recovery and spoiler alert, they think it’s STEROIDS.
Recently in an online spat between Anthony Smith and Conor McGregor, the Irishman “kind of” defended his possible use of PEDs during his time off from the USADA testing pool claiming he has a special exemption. Joe Rogan and his guest strongly believe that the fighter might have intentionally or unintentionally confirmed the several allegations of his steroid use with his statement.
It was quite bold of the UFC commentator to not dance around the topic of McGregor using possibly using PEDs for his speedy recovery. In the mid of 2021, the Irishman snapped his leg in half during the fight against Dustin Poirier, and already seems like he’s fit to be back in the octagon. In the latest episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the host said, “The weird thing is that there is a loophole in USADA that allows you to get out of the testing pool. It seems weird and you just need six months [of testing to get back].”
However, Rogan agrees if there is an existing loophole it sounds wise for a fighter like McGregor to exploit it to use steroids to injury-proof himself of future damage to his leg. The guest, Derek suggested drugs like HGH, peptides, and androgens would be the ones that Irishman is probably on right now.
Rogan commented on McGregor’s recent jacked physique and said, “He looks like his piss would melt that USADA cup. Like it would just like burn a hole right to the bottom of that USADA cup.” Rogan needs to tread carefully if he doesn’t want to fall victim to another slander tweet from McGregor because not long ago the UFC commentator got lashed out by the Irishman.
Conor McGregor claims he will be back to fighting very soon
The MMA world was shocked to know from Dana White himself that the biggest superstar is not on the roster for USADA’s testing pool. According to the rules of the testing agency, a fighter must be actively tested for 6 months before he can be approved of fighting for the promotion. ‘The Notorious’ claims that is not the case and he has a special exemption given the seriousness of his injury.
While the world was under the impression that the fighter would have to enroll himself in December 2022 to make sure he gets back into the octagon before mid-2023, the Irishman claims otherwise. Conor McGregor believes he needs only two tests according to the special exemption for him to get back into fighting.
I am clear for testing in February. I will complete my two tests per USADA and we are booking a fight.
— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) November 24, 2022“I am clear for testing in February. I will complete my two tests per USADA and we are booking a fight,” wrote McGregor in his tweet. If McGregor’s claims turn out to be false, then enrolling himself for testing in February of 2023 will mean the fighter can’t return until August which is a bummer for both the company and the fans. It is still unclear when Conor McGregor’s next fight is going to be.
