Sample Builds
The Amprex has a base electrical damage which may be combined into other elements depending on the mods.
It fires out a beam that chains to multiple enemies and is great for clearing out groups along with its high critical and status chance.
This weapon can be customized for many builds and make use of several of its base stats making it a great weapon for clearing out even the largest groups of enemies and dealing a continuous amount of damage to enemies.
Take note that the critical chance and status chance can take effect with the chain attacks as well.
Below are a few sample builds:
Critical Build
With this build we use Serration and Heavy Caliber to raise the overall damage of the weapon along with Split Chamber for a chance to multishot.
To increase the critical capabilities of the weapon, we add Point Strike for more critical chance along with Vital Sense to increase the critical multiplier.
For punch through and an increased rate of fire we add Shred along with 2 elemental damage mods for an increase on our overall damage.
This build utilizes the high critical chance of the weapon and adds even more elemental damage.
Due to the high status chance of the weapon, status effects may occur adding either weakening the enemies, causing damage over time or damage in an area.
Status Build
Our Amprex build we exchange a few mods for 3 of the elemental damage and status mods/
The reason we use only 3 elemental damage and status mods is because we already have electricity as our base damage.
To achieve a combination of 2 elemental combinations we need only put the 3 elements that are missing.
With this build we focus on increasing the status chance of the weapon causing it to deal either area damage and damage in an area with the bonus of making enemies weaker.
These status effects along with the large area covered by the Amprex due to its chain attacks will cause multiple sources of damages to enemies and is good for clearing out enemies as well as dealing elemental damage.
Hybrid Build
As a combination of the both the Critical and Status build, we have combined mods from both of them to make a hybrid combination of damage.
This is a hybrid build and mixes critical and status properties creating possibilities to deal damage from several sources such as the chain attacks, critical hits, status effects and elemental damage.
This is great for creating multiple sources of damage to enemies as well as figuring different mixtures that can deal the most damage to enemies depending on which elements they select.
Area of Effect Build
Focusing on dealing more damage in an area of effect we use Combustion Beam which will cause enemies killed to explode and deal damage to enemies around with a large blast.
This build focuses on dealing damage in an area and killing multiple groups of enemies with the chain attacks of the Amprex as well as the explosions from Combustion Beam.
This guarantees multiple sources of area damage especially when there are several enemies in the area that die.
Critical Area of Effect Build
With this build we take the Critical Build and replace Split Chamber with Combustion Beam making use of the critical build with the added damage from the explosions.
This build is great for multiple focused damages such as dealing damage to certain enemies while having the added bonus of Combustion Beam to deal area damage.
Basically it’s the critical build with an area of effect as a twist aside from the chain attacks.
Status Area of Effect Build
This build takes the status build and replaces Vigilante Armaments for Combustion Beam in order to make use of the build with a twist of the effects from Combustion Beam.
This guarantees a great addition to the area of effect the weapon can deal damage to due to the explosions.
With the same focus of the status build, this build makes use of the elemental damage and status mods to inflict the said damage along with the chance for status chances to occur.
The Combustion Beam mod will trigger the effect of enemies dying to explode which will deal a great amount of damage in an area thus causing more sources of damage aside from the ones from the status build.
Hybrid Area of Effect Build
Combustion Beam once again comes into play along with the mixture of both the Critcal AOE and Status AOE builds.
This build is very versatile as it can deal different amounts of damages and different instances of them.
The build has a high chance to deal critical hits with a good critical multiplier which causes the attacks and the chains to be able to deal strong successive critical hits.
Due to the elemental damage and status mods, the weapon is capable of causing status effects that deal area of effect damage, damage over time or that may weaken enemies.
This causes them to be more susceptible to not only the critical damage, but to the elemental damage as well.
Last of all, the build is topped off with the effect from Combustion Beam, causing even more damage when enemies die.
These are not the only builds available for the Amprex, but they are pretty useful in many situations.
There are tons of ways to mod this weapon and it all can vary depending on the user and their choice of mods.
Overview
Amprex is very unique because of its attacks chaining to other enemies.
Along with its high critical chance and status chance, the damage capabilities of the weapon are limitless and depend on the user and their preference.
With its ability to deal damage to multiple enemies in an area and deal successive hits, multiple builds can be used taking advantage of its chain attacks in the process.
The user may choose between critical damage, status effects, area damage and much more because of the weapons compatibility with several mods and the creativeness of the user is the only limit to the weapons prowess.
From shocking multiple enemies in an area to creating devastating damage all around the user, the Amprex is a master of creating sources of damage.
It can be modified to take out different types of enemies and is perfect for clearing out those pesky crowds.
