ABERDEEN, Idaho (CBS2) — A Mexico man was killed Monday in an early morning crash in eastern Idaho.
Jose Risendez-Rincon, 26, was driving a Nissan D21 pickup south on Highway 39 near Aberdeen. Idaho State Police said at about 6 a.m. he crossed over the center line and hit another driver in a Ford F150 head-on.
Risendez-Rincon was not wearing a seatbelt. He died in the crash.
The driver of the F150 and his passenger were both taken to a local hospital. The driver was later airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello. They were both wearing seatbelts.
The road was blocked for about 4 hours. ISP is still investigating the crash.
